                                                                        10th Anniversary of the SIEVX - Wednesday October 19

                                                                        - 400 asylum seekers set out on a boat known as the SIEV X.  Only 7 made it to Australia.  One of them was Amal Basry.  ‘Hope is an inspiration to all Australians who hope for better treatment of refugees in future’ – Julian Burnside, QC
